    The longer that I have lived in korea the more I have come to enjoy it especially the last five years in which I have taught university courses at Dongguk University. The Catholic

Textbooks:  English Firsthand 1 written by Marc Helgesen, Steven Brown, John Wiltshier (Pearson Longman) depending on student level and sometimes a topic.

Course Schedule

We will be using English Firsthand 1 until it’s conclusion. On a typical day we will try to cover the most important parts of one Unit. If we fall behind, we may stray from the schedule. We will be continuing from Unit 3.

Course Goal

The goal of this course is to strengthen our foundation level of English so we feel confident asking and answering basic questions while also developing our English vocabulary and conversation skills.  We will cover a variety of topics. Let’s have fun and speak English.
